Summary
Juniper was noticeably more comfortable than at her last visit. The soreness under the saddle has eased, and the mid-back restriction from August is gone. Her pelvis is still sitting low on the left, which matches the shortness you have been feeling on the left rein, so the home plan this month is all about that.

What I found
- A C5 Body Left left mild A little stiff bending to the right. Released easily and she licked and chewed straight after.
- B T14 DSP Left left moderate since last visit Right under the back of the saddle. Much less reactive than last month, but still the spot to watch.
- C L3 DSP Right right mild New today. Likely compensation for the pelvis; I expect it to settle as that does.
- D Pelvis Left PI left moderate since last visit This is what you feel as the short left hind on a circle. Adjusted well; the hill work below is what holds it.

Home plan
Carrot stretches
5 each side · dailyChin to girth, chin to hip, chin between the knees.
Hold each stretch for a slow count of five. Let her find the position herself; never pull the head round.
Belly lifts
3 × 10 seconds · before ridingLifts the back under the saddle, where she has been sore.
Run your fingertips along the midline behind the girth until she rounds up. Hold, release, repeat.
Note: Stand beside her shoulder, not behind the elbow.
Hill walking
10 minutes · 3 times a weekStraight lines up a gentle slope, in hand or under saddle.
Walk only, on a long rein, and let her stretch down. This is what keeps the pelvis level between visits.
Restrictions
- Light hack only tomorrow, then back to normal work.
- No lunging on a small circle for five days.
